Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, who completed her studies at the Veterinary Faculty of the University of Ljubljana. Her research journey started at the Laboratory for Animal Genomics, where she investigated sexual differentiation of the mice brains, culminating in a research paper titled “The Effects of Estrogene Receptors Activation on Sexual Differentiation of the Female Mouse Brain before Puberty”, submitted for the Prešeren Award. At the Institute of Biomedical Sciences she is pursuing a PhD on the topic of modular in vitro models of human tissues that will contribute to a more complete simulation of ADME (absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion).
