Biomimetics and tissue engineering enthusiast. Develops biofabrication protocols, experimental set-ups for in vitro tissue construction and analysis. Loves tinkering in the lab and finding new ways of measuring biological phenomena. He often mediates communication between scientists and engineers. After studying biology at the University in Ljubljana, he continued his education at RWTH Aachen Unviersity, where he obtained a PhD in natural sciences. During his studies, he spent a year as a visiting researcher at JKU Linz.
