Atomic force microscopy
Logan Sytem 912-6,
Logan Instruments Corp., USA
Description and specifications
Ta metoda omogoča opazovanje topografije, morfologije in mehanskih lastnosti površin v nanometrskem merilu.

ACQUITY Arc HPLC system
Waters 1525,
Waters Corp., USA
The purchase of the equipment was co-financed by the Public Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation of the Republic of Slovenia and the Faculty of Medicine, University of Maribor.
Decsription and specifications
The HPLC system allows the separation, identification and quantification of components in a mixture based on interactions between the mobile and stationary phases. The high resolution and sensitivity provide accurate and reproducible results, while the improved detection efficiency allows reliable analysis even at very low concentrations of analytes. The system is equipped with robust software that allows intuitive operation and efficient data analysis. The HPLC is coupled to a PDA detector that allows monitoring of analytes in the spectral range 200-800 nm. For molecules that do not absorb light in the UV-VIS range (e.g. monosaccharides), alternative detection methods such as a refractive index detector (RI detector) are used.
