Dr. Lidija Gradišnik is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at University of Maribor, Faculty of Medicine. After studying social gerontology and food technology, she continued her education at the INRA institute in France. Her primary research interests are cell culture and cell isolation, tissue engineering for in vitro tissue constructs, and material biocompatibility analyses. She is involved in projects that connect social gerontology with medicine, ensuring a healthy and active aging.
