3D rentgenski nanomikroskop Zeiss Xradia Versa 620, za napredno digitalno vizualizacijo oblike in notranje strukture vzorcev širokega nabora materialov z možnostjo segmentacije različnih faz ter z ločljivostjo na sub-mikronskem nivoju. To omogoča preučevanje tako bioloških vzorcev, polimerov, kovin in drugih materialov ter metamaterialov. Dodatno funkcionalnost sistema omogoča in-situ sistem za kvazistatično mehansko preizkušanje vzorcev s pomočjo kompresijskih in nateznih testov za preučevanje deformacije vzorcev ob mehanskih obrementivah.

Nakup opreme sta sofinancirala Republika Slovenija, Ministrstvo za izobraževanje, znanost in šport in Evropska unija iz Evropskega sklada za regionalni razvoj.
